Improving my portfolio and resume

So I decided to take a break from my 2D platformer and focus on making my resume and portfolio look presentable for anyone in the gaming industry. I want it to look like a professional website where someone could take a look at my work and say that they want me to join their company. I've been watching some of the career services lessons on the Game Gen website and have gained some insight on what I need to improve. Below are some of the videos where I got some tips on what I need to do.

In this video I learned that having a good summary of my goals in my resume could really boost it up there. I plan on adding one as an introduction to the resume. I already know what my goals are, and I plan on adding them to my introduction. I also plan on adding whatever software that I am proficient in, the games I've worked on, and some experience that I've had like those game jams that I've participated in.

In this video I realized I needed to add an about page on my blog so that people know who I am and what my goal is.
I'm glad that I've decided to tackle such an assignment like this because this will decide what my future beholds when finding a job. I also plan on reaching out to individuals in the industry so that I could get some input on how else I can improve on either my resume or my portfolio.
